BIOGRAPHIE
Olivier Sarrazin vit actuellement à Marseille. Il a mené des ateliers transmédia en prison et dans les quartiers populaires pour l’association Urban Prod de 2014 à 2018. Diplômé d’une Licence de sociologie et d’un Master II en photographie de l’Ecole Nationale Supérieure de la Photographie d’Arles, il fait parti de l’Agence Hans Lucas depuis 2015 et du collectif VOST depuis 2012 en tant que photographe et réalisateur. Il a réalisé son premier film et livre documentaire « Paroles Retenues » en Russie en 2010. Suite à une résidence de 3 mois effectuée à l’Ecole Rodchenko à Moscou en 2013, il débute un travail sur l’Ukraine. Il travaille régulièrement pour la presse en France et à l'étranger.
Olivier Sarrazin currently lives in Marseille. Between 2014-2018 he was conducting transmedia workshops in prison and in working-class neighborhoods for the association Urban Prod. Graduated with a degree in sociology and a Master II in photography from the National School of Photography in Arles, he has been a member of the Hans Lucas Agency since 2015 and of the VOST collective since 2012 as a photographer and a director. He made his first film and documentary book "Paroles Retenues" (“Witheld Words”) in Russia in 2010.
After a 3-month residency at the Rodchenko School in Moscow in 2013, he started a project about Ukraine. Since 2014, he has been documenting the conflict in eastern Ukraine, which has been partly published by Arte Infos. He works regularly for the press in France and abroad.
